Business Development Associate (REE0024D) Norcross, Georgia

Develop and maintain programs, partnerships, strategic alliances to promote brand recognition throughout the construction industry.

­­­­Align Strategic Partnerships opportunities enterprise-wide.

 Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Track strategic partner and association schedule of events on a master calendar and advise recommended participation by Sales, Source Development, RSMeans and other areas regarding networking and prospecting events.
  • Track sponsorship budget and make sponsorship recommendations which benefit Sales, Source Development, RSMeans and other areas of the business.
  • Process and distribute partnership contributions.
  • Coordinate with web development team for architecture-related content, internal and external promotions, CEU’s, and other information relevant to sources.
  • Facilitate special programs and offerings for Source Relationship Specialists, including but not limited to training, education, and professional development opportunities.
  • Support webcast and other internal programs by working with external partners to promote and publicize such opportunities.
  • Respond to inquiries from Source Relationship Specialist and aid in breaking down barriers to new sources.
  • Support strategic alliances to create mutually beneficial business partnerships/arrangements.
  • Research and provide feedback for potential partnerships.

AEC Cares:

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to facilitate and coordinate AEC Cares program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Requires 2- 3 years of relevent experience
  • General knowledge of AEC industry
  • Ability to present strategic and technical concepts in a clear manner
  • Preferred background in marketing or communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Executive level presentation and delivery skills
  • Computer proficiency required (Microsoft Office)
  • Positive attitude and high energy
  • Focused and detailed oriented
  • Well organized with strong project management and time management skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Deadline oriented
  • Team player
