Part-Time School Driver
Pier Recruitment are assisting a prestigious school in their search for a reliable driver for their morning and evening school bus run. This is a well-known school who operate a number of morning and evening school buses and are looking for someone dedicated, personable and reliable to join their team.
The school is based just outside of Brighton and public transport to the school is very limited however there is free onsite parking.
This is a part-time, afternoon/evening role but there may be opportunity to pick up further hours/routes. This role will be Monday – Friday, late afternoon/evenings during term-time only and is paying £9.23 per hour.
The role:
- Driving school minibuses on a designated route to pick up and drop of students
- Pre and post checks on vehicles
- Providing a high level of service to passengers
- Providing support to other staff where necessary
You will
- Hold a full and clean UK PCV drivers license D1 minimum (NFHR)
- Be aged between 23 and 70 for insurance purposes
- Be available throughout term time
- Be reliable
- Be personable and approachable
- Be confident working with young people
- Be flexible and happy to support in other areas if needed
- Be willing to complete a DBS check (paid for)
