Customer Service Team Leader

Customer Service Team Leader (VC5352) Scarborough, England

Salary: GBP30000 - GBP36000 per annum

THE POSITION:

Castle Business Support are currently working exclusively with UPM Raflatac to recruit a Customer Service Team Leader to join their well established and developing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced team leader with a strong proven background leading, developing and coaching teams, ideally within a similar arena.  You will be proactive and people focused, able to develop team culture and performance, while reviewing opportunities to continuously improve output.  The role will report directly into the Customer Service Manager based in North Europe.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the Customer Service teams’ development and performance with prompt effective feedback
  • Support and coach the team members on a daily basis
  • Develop a team culture which assumes an active role in the delivery of customer objectives in conjunction with the sales team.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Relay the company sales strategy and objectives and manage customer relationships
  • Support sales by information retrieval and analysis as well as pricing
  • Support the team and customers using the company’s tools and strategies in e-business
  • Support and coordinate the proactive activities of the team including product promotion and price offer follow ups.  

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to motivate, delegate, empower and build a good team spirit
  • You will have relevant educational background.
  • A management/leadership qualification, and a relevant degree, would be an advantage however not essential.
  • 5 years’ experience working within customer service or similar role
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads
  • Be proactive and take initiative
  • Flexible, easily adapt to different situations and work efficiently under pressure.
