Salary: GBP0 - GBP40000 per annum + 20% bonus

The Position:

Castle Business Support are recruiting for a Marketing Manager/Exec/Director to join a fast-paced leading property portfolio building company based in Scarborough on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a part of the Leadership Team within a great organisation, being responsible for the management of an approximate £500k per annum marketing budget. Joining a team of 3 people with the view to expanding to 5 within the next six months and on to 7 within a further 2 years you will be responsible for building a successful team around you.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Optimise the current strategies (80 events a year, 50+ online webinars, websites, google, facebook) driving into the detail and making strategic tweaks again and again to drive up return on investment.
  • Utilising social media to better effect to drive in more traffic
  • Driving online sales as part of the marketing delivery - books, DVD's, E-books
  • Bringing new ides and strategies that will drive in clients at the right cost per lead
  • Building affiliate relationships both at a high level and with other businesses who can deliver with email swaps and joint marketing including mortgage brokers, financial advisors, estate agents, letting agents, accountants in order to gain client referrals.
  • Segmentation of the database and using 15,000+ contacts to deliver results
  • Driving product innovation and ideas that help move the business into new and exciting markets
  • Implement improvements to internal and external communication documents and image

Requirements:

  • You MUST have personal experience managing a large marketing budget
  • You MUST have evidence of campaigns you have created and direct financial success that came from those campaigns
  • You MUST have the ability to think strategically and support the companies vision working with the Sales Director and other Directors to deliver the companies KPI and goals.
  • You MUST have a proven track record of delivering in this area and also evidence that you can lead a team and be strategic in your thinking.
  • IDEALLY you would have some Sales knowledge or background

Our client is a group of five companies based in Scarborough which aid their clients by looking after their Property Investment across the UK, The company is a market leader in the UK in property portfolio building and sourcing, Among the top three companies in property education and the fastest growing letting agency in Yorkshire. Our client has plans to expand the business within the next three years and has already grown from 20 people to 50+ in the last three years. 

The Benefits:

  • £35,000 - £40,000 pa 
  • Basic pay negotiable with an incentive equivalent to 20% of salary for stretch delivery
  • Good accessible location commutable from Leeds, Hull and York
  • Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 6.00pm with an hour for lunch.
  • 25 holidays per year plus bank holidays
