The Position:

Castle Business Support are recruiting for a Marketing Assistant to join our clients Marketing Team based in Driffield.

• Do you have excellent IT skills, in particular a good understanding of Excel?
• Do you have an interest in marketing and/or have experience in this field?
• Are you able to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines?
• Do you have brilliant communication skills and problem-solving skills?

This is a very exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, dedicated Marketing Team and utilise your skills and experience to progress accordingly within marketing.

You will be working in a busy office producing catalogues for specific brands to a high standard whilst learning all about marketing and utilising your excel skills and knowledge.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Proof checking and adhering to strict deadlines for completion
• Working on spreadsheets to produce the paginations
• Uploading data to a Microsoft Access Database
• Responsibility for specific brands within our clients’ company
• Liaising with the design team by giving them detailed and easy to understand instructions for the layout of each catalogue
• Analysing product results and being able to make decisions on products moving forward
• Update the website content and evolve accordingly as things progress
• Analyse, evaluate, utilise data and produce reports accordingly
• Assist with marketing campaigns

Requirements:

• You MUST have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel including formulas/functions
• You MUST have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• You MUST be able to work to tight deadlines and manage your time effectively

• You MUST be well organised with fantastic attention to detail
• You MUST be enthusiastic, hardworking with an interest in marketing
• IDEALLY you will have experience of being a marketing assistant
• IDEALLY you will be able to start immediately
