Administrator (RL9012) Whitby, England

Salary: GBP16000 - GBP19000 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • The sourcing, ordering, receipt and counting of spares – critical spares are not to be allowed to run out and are to be ordered in good time.  Spares are to be put away on the day they arrive.  Correct storage and labelling of spares, lubricants, etc. is inherent in this task.
  • Liaising and meeting with suppliers, service providers and contractors where necessary
  • Completion of administration and inputting of data must be as complete and accurate as possible
  • Duties which are time bound are to be diligently carried out within the specified time frame
  • A degree of flexibility in shift patterns and times is expected as required
  • All tasks are expected to be fully thought through and planned before commencing them to ensure they are safely carried out Right First Time with the minimum use of resources i.e. time and cost
  • Use rational thinking, sound judgement and intuition in analysing and resolving issues.  Set an example to others by own actions and inspire others to emulate them
  • Generation of daily , weekly and monthly EFACS shift downtime reports and primary cause analysis
  • Overalls are to be collected and put away on the day the clean ones arrive in the factory – Engineers should deputise where necessary
  • Generation of KPI reports
  • General analysis and report generation utilising EFACS, Pirana, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Collection, collating and processing of invoices, order forms and delivery notes
  • Updating and filing of printed operating and maintenance manuals
  • Printing , collating and distribution of engineers work order packs as required
  • Generation, editing and ordering of administrative forms including log books, risk assessment, etc.
  • General filing duties
  • Any other duties as directed

Requirements:

  • Educational qualification of minimum 5 GCSE's including Math's and English
  • Strong Inter-personal and communicational skills
  • Ability to use own initiative to good effect
  • Computer literacy in MSOffice
  • Experience of working in an administration role
  • Experience working as an individual or as part of a small team without direct authority
