Salary: GBP18500 - GBP19500 per annum

Castle Business Support are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor/Receptionist to join our client based in Scarborough.

Duties:

  • Understand customer service needs by listening to customer's description of services required; clarifying the description of services required; checking vehicle service records.
  • Sell additional automotive services by suggesting services that could be provided at the same time.
  • Prepare automotive service orders by entering services required into service management database; examining automotive technician work schedules; scheduling and coordinating services; informing the customer of date and time of service appointment; obtaining customer's approval of service estimates.
  • Maintain customer rapport by reminding customers of scheduled service appointments; following-up on "no-shows;" explaining service estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; resolving problems; planning future services; contacting customers to remind them of service plans.
  • Maintain automotive service records by recording services rendered and problems encountered; scheduling anticipated services.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
  • Accomplish organisation goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements:

  • You MUST have excellent and proven customer service experience
  • You MUST be able to work calmly under pressure and have a resilient attitude
  • You MUST be able to work under tight deadlines and manage your time effectively
  • You MUST be well organised with fantastic attention to detail
  • You MUST have excellent communication skills both over the phone and face to face
  • You MUST be computer literate with excellent data entry skills including excel and word
  • IDEALLY, you will have experience within a similar role
