The Position:

Castle Business Support are recruiting for an experienced marketing individual to join an exciting newly established further education establishment in Scarborough, North Yorkshire as a Marketing Coordinator.

  • Do you have creative marketing experience who prides themselves on their hands-on approach?

This is a very exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, dedicated team of professionals as a marketing coordinator, which will be a key part of the team. You will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining all aspects of marketing across the education establishment and supporting the senior management team with the recruiting processes with particular attention focused on the marketing communications.

You will be involved in the recruitment of learners, daily marketing activities with regards to promotion of the establishment as well as ensuring top notch communication is upheld between parents, the internal team, external agencies/businesses as well as stakeholders.

This is a hands-on marketing position, with expectation that you will be heavily involved with the delivery of all marketing strategies/plans made as well as all the administrative work behind the scenes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing marketing processes
  • Develop a range of marketing tools and materials
  • Organise and be a part of visits to local schools and businesses to raise their profile
  • Effectively communicate with parents, businesses, the internal team and stakeholders
  • Provide appropriate support at open evenings, external marketing activities and weekend workshops
  • Build, Implement and advertise marketing on social media platforms
  • Update the website content and evolve accordingly as things progress
  • Support the recruitment and admission process
  • Design and implement surveys
  • Analyse, evaluate, utilise data and produce reports accordingly
  • Assist with marketing campaigns

Requirements:

  • You MUST have good working knowledge of Marketing
  • You MUST have excellent communication skills with the confidence and ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with children/young adults/Governors/outside agencies & local businesses
  • You MUST be able to work to tight deadlines and manage your time effectively
  • You MUST be well organised with fantastic attention to detail
  • You MUST have a creative flair, be an ‘ideas’ person and an ability to hit the ground running with such ideas and strategies to support them
  • You MUST have experience within a communications based role
  • You MUST have had experience of organising marketing related activities
  • IDEALLY you will come from an education background
