Salary: GBP15000 - GBP16000 per annum

The Position:

Castle Business Support are recruiting for a Part-Time Customer Service Advisor to join our client based in Scarborough.

  • Do you have proven customer service experience within a busy environment?
  • Do you have fantastic communication skills with a resilient attitude?
  • Are you an excellent communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships?
  • Have you got excellent administration skills with the ability to prioritise your workload?

This is a great opportunity to join an established team and provide excellent customer service and to be the first point of contact via telephone, face to face and online. A chance to showcase your skill set and communication skills and really make an impact on our client’s business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Dealing with customers ensuring excellent customer service at all times
  • Administration duties alongside your customer service
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff, students and external customers
  • Operate the switchboard, transferring calls accordingly
  • Input correct data into the systems, addressing internal and external enquiries
  • Provide administration support to the student services team
  • Meeting and greeting students, visitors and staff in a friendly and professional manner
  • Record reported student absences and other pastoral care comments into the system
  • Operate a compliant signing in system for all external visitors
  • Provide reception duties

Requirements:

  • You MUST have excellent and proven customer service experience
  • You MUST be able to work calmly under pressure and have a resilient attitude
  • You MUST be able to work to tight deadlines and manage your time effectively
  • You MUST be well organised with fantastic attention to detail
  • You MUST have excellent communication skills both over the phone and face to face
  • You MUST be computer literate with excellent data entry skills including excel and word
  • IDEALLY you will have experience within the education sector
