HR Administrator

HR Administrator (RL7508) Scarborough, England

Salary: GBP0 - GBP22000 per annum

Castle Business Support are recruiting for a HR Administrator to join a fast paced leading manufacturing company based outside Scarborough

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the HR Team of a great organisation, being responsible for providing effective, confidential, generalist administration services to the Human Resources Department on all aspects of the employee life-cycle for UK & Ireland employees.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monthly headcount reporting
  • Compiling and coordinating data from finance departments across the division
  • Monitoring and monthly board meetings i.e headcount, absence reports, HR and KPI reports etc
  • Diarise probationary review meetings for new employees, set reminders for line managers and request returned forms for personnel files
  • Update Org chats for UK & Ireland with transfers, new starters and leavers
  • Prepare offer letters and issue contract offers of employment
  • Scanning/maintain electronic employee personnel files
  • Apply historical employment references for new employees
  • Administer the CRC check process for new employees
  • Ensure HR database up to date
  • Inputting starters, leavers and change of details onto the HR system
  • Input disciplinary sanctions, grievances and append to HR system
  • Run absence management reports
  • Collation of leaver forms and resignation letters, ensuring the Line Manager is aware of the leaver process
  • Ensure resignations are acknowledged in a timely manner and calculate outstanding annual leave in accordance with terms and conditions
  • Ensure arrangements are in place for exit interviews and feedback given to Line Manager

 

Requirements:

  • You MUST have excellent IT skills, including experience of working with full suite of MSO including Excel
  • You MUST have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • You MUST be highly organised, methodical and the ability to meet deadlines
  • IDEALLY you will have a CIPD qualification although the client is prepared to put the ideal candidate through the qualification
  • IDEALLY you will have knowledge of SAGE
