This is an entry level position for a hard working and enthusiastic candidate looking to step into an IT Service Technician Traineeship position.
The Company
Our client are a global organisation focusing in IT and state of the art service equipment. They are looking for an IT Service Technician Trainee to join their expanding team in Sydney. If you consider yourself to be IT savvy and have a good understanding of computers and gadgets this is the perfect opportunity for you to step into. Once you have completed your traineeship you will be well on your way to building an amazing career in IT industry.
The Role
As an IT Service Technician you will be working on hardware and software, installing a range of equipment, conducting IT repairs and maintenance, troubleshooting as well as liaising with companies in relation to their IT equipment.
This position is a 2 Year Traineeship that will see you enrolled in a Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology. You will be working full time whilst attending TAFE 1 day a week.
Requirements
We are looking for tech savvy individuals who has a real enthusiasm for working with high end technology and looking to start their career with one of the best companies in the business. Your excellent IT skills will see you succeeding in this sought after traineeship.
Key requirements include;
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Be technically minded
- Excellent attention to detail
- Have good problem solving and fault finding skills
- Excellent customer service skills and able to work well in a team
- Able to commit to a 2 year traineeship.
- Have unrestricted drivers licence
