My client is a leading global investment bank. They are looking for a number of core Java developers to join there FX development team due to expansion and increased profitability. Technologies Used: Java, Server Side development, Linux, Messaging, OO Design, relational data bases experience

The client has seen a vast increase in profit in this business area over the last 6 months. So are re designing there entire trade confirmations and settlement systems due to the extra volume in trades. They system is going to be build in core Java sever-side on a Linux platform with a SQL Server backend. Candidates should be experience sever-side Java developers with strong OO Design and ideally messaging experience. Candidates DON’T need finance experience, just a good understanding of full life cycle development and ideally experience of developing a GREENFIELD system. The team is currently developing in an agile environment, scrum meetings, Test Driven Development, XP and Pair programming.

You should demonstrate a strong analytical ability to problem solving in conjunction with a high attention to detail. You should have a passion for developing cutting edge software and learning about new technologies. Candidates should be degree educated in a computer science or similar discipline to a high standard. Candidates should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
