.Net Developer Summary:

Signature Consultants has an opportunity for a .Net Developer.  In this role the candidate will be responsible for development and implementation of our client’s software solutions. The role will also be accountable for developing and supporting the complete Microsoft .Net solutions used in its Platform, in addition to external interfaces, RESTful services, and SQL SSIS/SSRS solutions.  The position will be required to demonstrate a commitment towards continuous improvement and operational excellence. The candidate will be expected to have a detailed knowledge of our clients’ products and application interfaces as well as a good understanding of our underlying business processes. The individual will play a key role in a variety of areas including; Agile team, IT software delivery, IT development road map, IT operational readiness, and IT 3^rd tier support.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for a new application managing the repository of client data, interfaces to internal/external systems, and customer reporting.
• Provide solutions to all departments of the company and across multiple applications.
• Ability to work in an Agile Scrum environment during the development, testing and delivery phases.
• Experience building Cloud-based applications.
• Must have strong relational database design skills.
• Experience with version control tools like TFS.
• Experience with mocking frameworks, unit testing, and B2B integration.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree or 5 + years of relevant software development experience
• 3 + years of experience working within agile methodologies
• 3 + years of experience with conceptual level knowledge of relational database software
• Preferred: EDI experience with standard transactions including NCPDP, ANSI X12, and/or HL7
• Visual Studio 2015 and above (c#) – 3-5 years of experience
• Strong object oriented programming skills – 3-5 years of experience
• ASP.NET MVC 5 and above – 3-5 years of experience using ASP.NET
• SQL Server: DB design, SQL, T-SQL – 3-5 years of experience
• HTML5, CSS, javascript - 2 years of experience
• Entity Framework 6 and above - 2 years of experience
• Web Services and API using REST and JSON - 2 years of experience
• Business Intelligence SSIS/SSRS – 2 years of experience
• Microsoft Office Suite,  Visio,  PowerPoint, and Team Foundation Server (TFS)

• Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills to initiate professional and effective contact with internal and external customers
• Ability to see big picture as well as the details that need to occur; global knowledge of health care industry

Work Environment:

• Working environment is an office, including sitting, standing, fluorescent lighting, computer work, and other office conditions/functions.
• Some travel, as required.
