Business Analyst / Training Specialist

Business Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Business Analyst/Training Specialist for a position in Charlotte, NC. The Business Analyst/Training Specialist will provide level one support to associates at many levels of the organization who have a need to utilize or provide input to Data Management documentation and evidence. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate sound business judgment and/or analytical skills as well as have relevant project management experience. An ability to create persuasive presentations and to clearly communicate is important in this role. He or she need to possess experience working with multiple groups such as Data Domain Managers, Program Managers, Technology Partners, other Lines of Business Subject Matter Experts and Business Analysts to translate questions and requests into solutions. The BA will need to become knowledgeable of data management repository and web portal capabilities, reference materials, Enterprise and local Data Management Standards, related processes and impacts. It is essential for the successful candidate to have the ability and aptitude to learn new business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Service Mailbox
  • Review/resolve issues within SLA
  • Assign tasks to appropriate resources
  • Escalate requests to Level 2 support as appropriate
  • Document FAQs, develop support materials, identify education opportunities
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure all systems support and conform to business needs and specifications
  • Act as liaison between business unit and developers

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills required
  • Ability to work with diverse team members in virtual environment
  • Proficiencies in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
  • Must be detail and deadline oriented. Ability to multi-task
  • Experience working with end-users defining and documenting system requirements
  • Experience in defining test scripts and completing user acceptance testing

Desired Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in technology business analysis and design
  • Consumer Bank and/or Mortgage industry knowledge/experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Bank Operations and Systems
  • Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet SLAs
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases is a plus
