Field Service Engineer 

We are currently looking for a highly personable and passionate Field Service Engineer to join an industry-leading clinical technology provider. This is a field-based role where you will be responsible for supporting several client sites in and around Basildon, acting as the customer-facing contact for a local ‘cluster’ of clients using the business’ technology products.

In the role, the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for checking on faulty products to minimise disruptions to customers and maximise uptime, as well as carrying out Health and Safety checks on equipment to ensure it is fit for purpose, working closely with the company’s engineers to resolve faults that can’t be easily fixed onsite. The Field Service Engineer will be the face of the company, with daily face-to-face and telephone contact with both customers and product consumers, so the role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships and rapport and enjoys solving issues and problems to help others.

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer with:

• Good customer service skills and ability to build rapport.
• Full driving licence and own vehicle. 
• Previous experience in a field role or desire to work in such a position.
