Ripe Insurance are working in partnership with Crimson to source multiple highly skilled IT professionals including Business Analysts, Full Stack .Net Developers and BI Analysts to support and successfully deliver their current and upcoming projects.
Ripe is a tech-driven insurance specialist for niche sectors with products including Golf Care, the UK’s number one golf insurance brand. With a 60-strong team, Ripe handles over 200,000 policyholders across its brand portfolio. Over the next 12 months they will be delivering a large migration project, bringing all 14 brands on to a common platform to ensure consistency and an excellent service for their customers.
You will work closely with the Transformation Team on BAU or new products to ensure that delivered products are meeting agreed acceptance criteria. You will also be required to liaise with colleagues across the business to drive improvements and innovation across all Ripe brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer solutions and ideas to technical problems and assist in the development of solutions within your team
- Adhere to Ripe standards and QA best practices
- Translate business requirements into acceptance criteria
- Communicate progress effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
- Identify and manage risk, and provide deployment and post-production problem support
Key Skills
- Good experience of working within a QA capacity
- Ability to derive and document acceptance criteria
- Excellent experience of working across multiple business functions and translating between technical and non-technical communication
- Good knowledge of web technologies, database technologies and the Microsoft .Net Framework
- Clear written and verbal communication.
The salary for this position is £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package. Based near Manchester Airport in newly refurbished offices, Ripe has an energetic, positive and friendly culture with a casual dress policy and calendar of social events.
