Senior Applications Analyst required to join whg’s IT Applications Management Team. You will be responsible for managing 3rd line application support tickets within the agreed SLA’s. You will lead application development in large scale projects within the IT roadmap, assisting the technical design, writing functional specifications and assisting with testing and the resulting defect resolution.

Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for incident and problem management, including daily checks, interface monitoring and responding to system alerts
- Take the lead on large application implementations and lead on the application rationalisation project
- Provide 3rd line application support on all core and non-core applications; assisting with upgrades, patching, releases and the ownership, management and resolution of incidents
- Liaise with 3rd parties, business users and colleagues, building strong relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Document new processes, procedures and application changes and updating existing documents where necessary. Document the application landscape and environment management procedure including source code control standards
Key Skills
- Housing system or MIS (or similar) experience is essential
- Significant experience of IT application support
- Proven experience of delivering and leading large scale software implementations
- Knowledge of SSRS/SSIS/SSAS, Power BI, Data Warehousing, ETL processes or Crystal Reports
- Understanding of SQL Server Database administration
- Clear written and verbal communication.
