IT Project Manager – EMV/Banking/Finance – Preston
IT/Project Management/EMV/Business Improvement/Banking/Finance/Retail/Lifecycle/Risks/Agile
IT Project Manager required for a specialist manufacturing company with strong connections to the Banking, Finance and Retail sectors. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Commercial Director and be responsible for managing multiple EMV projects. You will own the projects from start to end and be responsible for managing key clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage various IT Projects, predominately EMV projects, and prioritise and monitor projects and lifecycle progressions
- Deliver business improvements and support the business change programme
- Produce project initiation documents and monitor project risks
- Work closely with the team of EMV Technicians and Developers
- Take responsibility for change control and configuration management
- Strong integration with new and existing clients
Key Skills
- Excellent end to end project delivery experience
- Experience within Banking, Finance or Fintech is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of various project methodologies
- Knowledge of EMV would be advantageous
- Clear written and verbal communication.
