Compliance Analyst

Compliance Analyst (673820/001) Adelaide, Australia

As the Compliance Analyst, you will be required to assist with the development and implementation of the compliance framework and processes to support the business in meeting its compliance obligations.

Reporting directly to the Risk & Compliance Officer, key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with the maintenance and development of compliance policies and procedures
  • Assist with identification and management of compliance risk across all business divisions
  • Conduct compliance reviews across the business and monitor completion of compliance tasks
  • Maintain the compliance register
  • Develop and present compliance reports to Senior Management and Committees
  • Provide consultative advice to the management team across the business in regards to compliance obligations and provide compliance related training Provide support for the implementation of the risk management framework which includes the delivery of risk management activities and preparation of risk report

Key requirements to be successful in this role:

  • Relevant experience within a compliance environment with a financial institution or insurance based industry
  • Internal or external audit experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing compliance frameworks
  • Formal report writing skills across Senior Managers, Committees and Board/s
  • Knowledge of compliance methodology and compliance management systems
  • An understanding of the prudential regulator APRA
