Position Role/Description:

The Optimization and Personalization team was formed to deliver industry leading site enablement and customization capabilities while supporting the site analytics and performance tracking teams. The group closely partners with eCommerce leadership; Marketing, IT, business unit leaders and other corporate functions to deliver new or enhanced capabilities based on key testing insights for an industry leading customer experience.

This team maintains a highly visible and strategically important role in delivering against the strategies of the organization at large as it relates to customer experience. Technical capabilities related to Target and other Marketing Cloud solutions as well as strong organization and communications skills are key. A deep understanding of Javascript, CSS and HTML as it relates to delivering proper content display is necessary.

Responsibilities:

Deliver against the website optimization and customized experience strategies across the properties and customer touchpoints.
Write and configure Javascript, CSS, and HTML to ensure proper content display
Partner with the data management and analytical teams to support analytics and measurement across customized site experiences
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to delivering custom site experiences
Communicate with upstream and downstream teams regarding the execution against the desired testing strategy
Manage and lead technical effort working with IT partners, site management and creative to ensure timely execution of testing and/or personalization cadence
Work in a consultative manner with a cross-functional set of teams to ensure the correct desired experience is delivered.

Qualifications/Requirements:

5+ years demonstrated experience in client-side web experience
Experience with highly trafficked sites a plus
Deep knowledge of JS, CSS, and HTML
1+ years working with Marketing Cloud technologies (e.g. Target, Audience Manager, Analytics)
1+ years working with A/B testing and site personalization efforts, preferably leveraging Target as a platform
Track record of consistent delivery and execution
