 Mobile Product Manager
Location: --Reading
Salary: GBP40000 - GBP50000 per annum + Bonus & Benefits
We are seeking a Mobile Product Lead to work within the Global iYP (Yell.com) and Local Portal department. This position will be based in our Reading Head Office.
Job Purpose:
The role holder is responsible for developing, executing and managing the iYP and Local Portal mobile strategy. This currently includes both mobile website and mobile app products (phone/tablet). They will be leading all mobile aspects of a major new project, with a very heavy emphasis on the mobile experience.
Responsibilities:
•The role holder is responsible for developing, executing and managing the iYP and Local Portal mobile strategy.
•Working with Head of Search and other senior team members to define a mobile offering which is both device-specific and differentiated, but is also joined-up with the website experience
•Project-managing the effective delivery of all mobile products
•Ownership of the development of new mobile product lines and/or making strategic enhancements to the existing Product set
•Driving continuous improvement in customer satisfaction / customer experience on current products
•Contribution to product strategy / evaluation of strategic product issues
•Building business cases to support product initiatives, working closely with Finance
•Reporting and delivering on usage and KPI objectives
•Writing product epics, specifications and backlogs
•Co-ordinating relevant market and customer research and incorporate into product plans
•Working with global colleagues in engineering, search, SEO/SEM, marketing and other departments
Experience required:
•High quality BA degree (or equivalent), MBA an advantage
•Solid relevant digital/technology product experience, specifically mobile
•Good understanding of digital products and markets
•Ability to support mobile/online/technology product lines
•Ability to liaise with senior managers
•Excellent strategic/analytical/commercial/presentation/communication/ relationship/management skills
•Great attention to detail
