Insight and Statistical Modelling Manager
Location: --Reading
Salary: GBP60500 - GBP60500 per annum + bonus + car
We are seeking Insight and Statistical Modelling Manager to work within the Marketing team based in our Reading office.
Job sumary:
•Yell’s UK SME and Consumer insight expert – charged with moving Yell to a status of world class in the use of data and insight to drive business performance.
•Directly influences bottom line performance through the correct allocation of marketing resources to optimize Yell’s marketing KPI’s
•Direct Marketing reponse
•ATL marketing performance
•Traffic to the Website
•Site conversion (leads and Sales)

•Customer Acquisition, Retention and products per customer
•Owner of Yell’s test and learn strategy – both online and offline media
Responsibilities:
•Leads the delivery of key insights to drive the targeting of all Yell’s UK marketing activity
•Leads the development of key insights to inform the sales function
•Defines the rules to underpin yell’s Merchant contact strategy
•Sets up and manages automated testing processes for each marketing channel to build continuous improvement into Yell’s marketing activity
•Analyses UK performance data to provide improved and actionable insight to product, proposition and business teams
•Interfaces with MSS function to ensure UK Marketing Team is furnished with timely and relevant market and performance insight
•Lead and prioritise the work of the Statistical Modeling Analyst to :
◦Design, build and delivery of product propensity models for both acquisition and xsell/upsell – for all existing products
◦Design, build and delivery of risk models to determine customers most likely to cancel either all or part of their advertising
◦Design, build an delivery of proposition models to determine which propositions work best with each customer group / segment
◦Design , build and delivery of channel specific models to determine which products, with which proposition deliver the greatest conversion for each channel
◦New build of models as new products and propositions become available and when existing models begin to degrade
◦Tracking of model performance to determine ongoing suitability
◦Ensure all models are scored correctly to the marketing database
•Communication of insight and underlying model drivers to wider stakeholder community including senior management team in the UK
