We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Electrical Designer to join our team in Moncton, New Brunswick.

You will be part of a design team, directly involved with a variety of project work including buildings (aviation, ports, commercial, institutional, industrial, etc.), highway, and bridges, municipal and other types of infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Develop drawings from sketches and concepts required by the electrical engineering team (determine appropriate scale, arrangement and specific details of the drawings, etc.). Develop graphics and 3D models as requested for proposals and presentations. Do occasional field audits of existing facilities and /or new construction. Observe and implement policies and procedures in the preparation of drawings. Review and verify other drawings done by others integrating project design drawings. Perform any other related duties that may contribute to the projects.

Skills/Qualifications required to be successful are : Possess a technical diploma in Building Services (electrical) or equivalent. Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in electrical engineering technology is preferred, but not required. Work experience on sites, would be an asset. Possess excellent communication skills, knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office software. Working knowledge of REVIT and MicroStation would be an asset. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work in order to meet the objectives of cost, quality and time. Good skills to assess the functioning of systems, search problems and identify solutions. Ability to link and follow up with the various parties involved in the process. Demonstrate good time management skills and be able to adapt to change. Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills in complex and changing environments.
