Sales Director – Software Solutions
Birmingham – £75,000 - £90,000 + commission + excellent benefits
A global software company are looking for an ambitious Sales Director with plenty of IT sales leadership experience to head up their UK operations. This software company provide supply chain solutions to a variety of different industries. This role will see the successful candidate facilitate the sales function and set a sales strategy for the business. Whilst maintaining the sales operations, the candidate must also maintain the efficient delivery of the company services to meet client needs
Role:
Coordinate and prepare annual business plan, including sales and business planning
Report to management on financial performance business
Set and monitor measurable objectives and KPI’s periodically. Ensure managers are also managing their staff’s KPI’s and take remedial action where KPI’s are not met
Coordinate development of marketing plan with sales support requirements for inclusion in annual business plan
The hiring and development of staff in the UK.
Provide technical development of teams, plan requirements for new or existing product development
Skills and Experience:
Fantastic understanding of supply chain solutions, EDI, Software
IT Sales with experience selling cloud-based solutions
Strong business process understanding with a particular knowledge of the financial environment and financial transactions
Strong technical understanding to be able to solution sell or have had previous solution selling background
Top-line sales management and achievement across a region particularly with a start-up background
Salary:
£75,000 - £90,000 + Commission
