Who we are looking for
We are on the hunt for our next Digital Solutions Architect to champion our digital solutions and digitisation journey. Hence, this individual will have strong Solution Architect experience coupled with strong digital; web, mobile app and cloud experience (preferably AWS/GCP). Our architects will be required to work in agile environments, and oversee our development pods.
In addition, you will be responsible for
- Requirement/concept to the design and development of the solutions
- Delivery of well architected web and mobile application
- Setup and champion the organisation’s enterprise and digital architecture
- Define and develop the digital architecture roadmap, concepts, standards, patterns, policies and principles meeting security best practice
- Oversee the development and solution delivery pods ensuring any architecture proposed is designed, built and documented for reuse depending on the business functionality provided

Experience and background required
We are looking for architects with experience in designing and developing pragmatic solutions for complex digital transformation projects. These must include delivery of digital solutions delivery via mobile first digital experiences, B2B, B2C and utilising concepts such as APIs, SSO, cloud integration, DevOps and Serverless computing.
Previous experience with OpenSource, iOS and Android native app and a strong background with SOA and micro-services architecture is ideal.
Demonstrable experience with cloud technologies and cloud application is a must as is your experience in a similar and senior capacity
You should be confident with facilitating workshops, providing architecture guidance and advice and have a passion for API led integration and have built and documented pragmatic reusable API services. Solutions that have utilised modern service buses (i.e: MuleSoft, IBM IIB, etc.)
Additionally, you have a good grasp of modern B2B concepts and technologies for digital enablement and are familiar with Serverless, Docker, AKS, Kubernetes, etc.
