SharePoint Business Analyst

SharePoint Business Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants is looking for a SharePoint Business Analyst to work on a contract position with one of our clients located in the Weston, FL area. The SharePoint Business Analyst will be a highly motivated, self-driven individual, responsible for collaborating with business and technology teams to understand requirements, coordinate development and testing with the technology teams, and coordinate production implementation and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the initiation, coordination and completion of multiple, parallel projects within the Information Technology department
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects
  • Own stakeholder management; responsible for setting customer expectations and leading efforts to sustain customer satisfaction
  • Working and managing all Business Analyst phases in projects around SharePoint
  • Serve as the bridge between the business and technical teams
  • Be able to explain and quantify the business benefits of projects (Quantitative business value or internal operational improvement)
  • Gather requirements by facilitating requirements gathering, SharePoint , JAD, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
  • Proactively communicate with business owners and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Prioritized backlogs of User Stories, Process maps, Process Development Recommendations, Use Cases, screen and User Interface designs
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Collaborate with project’s development team and subject matter experts to establish the vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs

Requirements:

  • BA SharePoint
  • Extensive Business Analyst - SharePoint
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills
  • Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into user stories and operational requirements
  • Solid experience with SharePoint
