Castle Engineering are recruiting an experienced Facilities Engineer to join a small engineering team based near York. As the Facilities Engineer you will be qualified electrically and have worked within facilities maintenance in the past and have experience of maintaining all site services.

The successful Facilities Engineer will be responsible for:

• Responding to maintenance call outs on site and carrying out any repairs needed including any lighting, fire alarms and sprinkler systems.
• You will regularly check all electrical systems in the building ensuring an adequate maintenance plan is in place.
• You will carry out any electrical installation and wiring work that needs upgrading and will work with the team leaders to ensure all works are carried out on time and within budget.

Applicants must have a relevant electrical qualification and have worked in a Site Services or Facilities Engineering role, Ideally you will have worked in either the healthcare or education sector and all candidates will be required to complete a DBS check once selected to interview.

This is a days based role paying to £30,000
