Castle Engineering & Manufacturing are seeking a Inspection Engineer to work with a world class precision engineering manufacturer based on the East Coast of Scarborough.

Our Client who works across a global market place are seeking an Inspection Engineer to work across their precision products department. This is a great opportunity to work with a highly successful and expanding business.

As Inspection Engineer you will work within a business that has advanced manufacturing capabilities and committed engineering teams supporting a variety of customers globally.  Working in their machine shop as part of their quality team you will be required to deal with:

• Utilise CMM program and relevant software to qualify complex components
• Manually inspect with hand held measurement tools 
• Visually inspect machined parts to 2D drawings and 3D models before dispatch to customers
• Produce quality documentation promptly to customer specifications
• Communicate accurately to machinists, programmers and quality team inspection results and any deviations to customer manufacturing drawings
• You will need to work in a driven environment as part of a team and have the flexibility to be prepared to support our customers demands when needed
• Work to ISO 9001 Quality Management Standards as well as Quality standards set by the customer

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a precision engineering environment as an Inspection Engineer in a forward thinking business.  To be successful in this role you will need to have:

• Previous Quality Experience
• Knowledge of CMM and metrology
• Able to understand and work from engineering drawings
• Excellent Communication Skills 
• At least 3 years experience in a machining and manufacturing environment
• Eligibility to work within UK and looking for a long-term progressive career

The successful candidate will be working in a rewarding environment where precision and attention to detail are key.  

Hours:  7.00am - 3.30pm Mon - Fri

Location:  East Yorkshire

Salary:  £25,000 - £30,000 pa
