An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineering Technician to work within a global business who manage key projects for a number of blue chip companies across a broad range of sectors.

This role is a key role to the business and will require someone who is used to working in manufacturing and has had experience of working in a hands on capacity who is suitably qualified electrically.

 

You will be in a technical production environment developing wiring systems to meet customer demands.  As well as being hands on you will also assist with the development team and will be required to carry out site installations, fault finding and repair.  

 

As an Electrical Engineering Technician you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting product changes and assist in the development of new products
  • Deal with installations, fault finding and repair
  • Wiring and testing of products
  • Ensuring compliance with all electrical standards and regulations

 

To be successful in this challenging but rewarding role you will need to have the following:

  • At least 5 years’ experience of electrical installations
  • Knowledge and experience of NICEIC software certificates and membership requirements
  • 17th Edition or Level 3 City and Guilds
  • Experience of interrogation and programming of electronic devices
  • Ability to read schematics and electrical drawings
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical legislation and safety procedures
