CAD Engineer/Estimator (VC3480) Filey, England
Castle Manufacturing are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding business as a CAD Engineer/Estimator. As a CAD Engineer/Estimator you will be working with and servicing the construction and building industries. Our Client design, manufacture and build ready-made and bespoke products and are currently working on a number of exciting projects that require a good level of design input and development.
Our Client is looking to bring an innovative and commercially minded CAD Designer/Estimator into their design team based at their North Yorkshire office. In this role you will be working with customers both externally and internally, will be responsible for being able to take a brief and produce drawings and designs fit for production.
To be successful in this role you need to display the following key skills and attributes:
- Have a high level of competency in CAD design 2D & 3D design and modelling, knowledge of Revit software preferable
- Be adept at problem solving and analysis
- Have experience of fabrication techniques and methods
- Be experienced in taking a product from development through to final manufacture
This role is design/commercially focused and offers a real opportunity to work across multiple functions, you will have exposure to customers and will be able to offer input at conception stage right through to manufacture.
Due to the nature of the role you will need to demonstrate that you can:
- Be commercially minded and recognise commercial opportunities
- Be dynamic and adaptable in your approach to work
- Be motivated by engineering challenges and offering solutions
- Communicate well at all levels within a business with a clear ability to liaise with production staff
