Castle Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a forward thinking, dynamic and highly successful business who are a world leader within their sector. They are seeking an additional Service Engineer to bring into their 30 strong service team.
To be successful in this position you will need to display a desire and enthusiasm to learn and develop within a fast paced environment and have had some previous exposure to mechanical or electrical engineering.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is looking to make their mark within a highly respected business, is keen to travel on an international basis, and wants experience of working with bespoke, cutting edge machinery.
Although you will be based at their Head Office in the North of England the role will include worldwide travel, and will require you to install and maintain machines on-site for your customers; so you will need to have the confidence, communication skills and ability to do this as efficiently and as effectively as possible.
To be successful in this position you will need to be:
- Electrically Qualified - City & Guilds, HNC or be Apprenticeship/Time Served trained
- IT Literate
- An Excellent Communicator
- Able to work in a demanding and challenging environment
- Comfortable working nationally and internationally
You will be responsible for fault finding, rectifying faults, will be working on Plc’s and will need to be IT literate as well as having the technical ability to carry out the tasks required.
Due to the nature of the product you will be offered in-house training before going into the full service role, so it is a good development opportunity for the right candidate.

Salary: £24 - £27k pa + Benefits
