Castle Engineering and Manufacturing are seeking a Production Development Engineer to join the production team of an electrical manufacturing company based in Hunmanby.
The purpose of the Production Development Engineer role will be for you to develop solutions for automatic test equipment, maintain and improve existing test sets and quality controls production test equipment. You will be liaising with several different departments daily, so communication is key.
To be successful in this role you will….
- Have experience in an electronics production engineering role
- Have commercial experience in C, C#, embedded systems, MS-SQL, or ASP
- Be qualified in Electrical Engineering to HND/Degree level
- Have working knowledge in electronic equipment covering both digital and analogue circuitry
- Be able to develop procedural script or PLC languages
- Have excellent organisational, communication, IT skills and MS Office skills
Due to the nature of the position, there will be some requirement for the Production Development Engineer to travel on company business.
