CNC Machinists (VC7079) Pickering, England
Castle Engineering & Manufacturing are seeking a CNC Machinist to join a renowned business within their sector. Working and supplying into a number of sectors including Oil and Gas your role as CNC Machinist will involve you reading and interpreting drawings dealing with specifications and tolerances.
You will manufacture and machine components in line with specifications and as CNC Machinist you will have the following responsibilities:
Set up, program and operate CNC Hurco and/or Mazak milling machines
Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and tolerances
Competent in the use of precision measuring devices
Complete Quality documentation (NCR, ECN etc.)
Carry out standard machine maintenance
Ability to operate manual milling machines
Capable of working with limited supervision
Willing to undertake flexible working hours (may include overtime, shift work, ad
hoc)
Complete administrative documentation (Timesheets, holidays etc)
Carry out job tasks safely using good working practices
Ensure good housekeeping at all times.
Other duties to support the business operations as assigned
To be successful in the role CNC Machinist you will display the following:
- 3 years experience in a similar environment
- Working knowledge of standard measurement for threads and tapers
- Ability to read technical manufacturing drawings

Hours: 37 hrs a week with overtime paid at x 1.5 or double time.
