Castle Engineering are working on with a global business who manage key projects for a number of blue chip companies across a broad range of sectors, and are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to bring into their team and manage a number of projects.
This role is an integral role to the business and will require a skilled and competent Mechanical Engineer who can manage teams of people across both Projects and Manufacturing.
Working on the design and implementation of projects you will be required to deliver projects and designs on time and in budget. It is a great role for a forward thinking Mechanically biased Design Engineer who is looking to make a move into a more responsible and challenging role.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Supporting product changes and assist in the development of new products
- Managing teams of people
- Liaising with other managers in the group to ensure a ‘joined up’ approach to problem solving
- Dealing with customers and working both on and off-site on Clients premises
To be successful in this challenging but rewarding role you will need to have the following:
- At least 5 years’ experience
- A Degree in a related Engineering discipline (Chartership will be beneficial)
- An excellent knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks 2D & 3D
- Ability to read schematics and a knowledge on electrics are beneficial
- A knowledge of sheet meal and infrastructure products
