Salary: GBP30000 - GBP35000 per annum + Benefits

Our client’s business is internationally recognised for being one of the World’s most attractive employers, is seeking an Industrial Engineer. You will need to apply LEAN processes and ultimately improve quality and efficiency across their manufacturing facility in North Yorkshire. They offer an excellent benefits package alongside a competitive salary.

The business is commutable from Bridlington, Driffield, Scarborough, Malton, York, Whitby, Pickering, there is onsite parking available and the role is an exciting position for a manufacturing professional to implement change and have some real input in the direction of the business going forwards.

To be successful in the role of Industrial Engineer you will need to be able to:
• Display a working knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing
• Have experience of industrial working practices
• Some knowledge of Six Sigma/Kaizen and other manufacturing tools
• Provide examples of where you have implemented change and quality
• Evidence where you have applied CI Continuous Improvements
• Communicate effectively at all levels and across all mediums
• Adopt working philosophies and apply them in the work place
• Work as part of a team
• Knowledge of Process Engineering, Labour Productivity, Continuous Improvement
• Record, interpret and analyse technical data accurately and effectively
• Work within a manufacturing facility

You will have a level of autonomy in this role and will be consistently assessing efficiencies and looking at better working practices across the business. In this role you will need to be comfortable dealing with people at all levels be able to use various methods of communication to ensure that new processes are conveyed effectively.

This role will appeal to a process led methodical individual who has a positive approach to business processes and who likes to implement change across a business.
You will need to be familiar with lean manufacturing principles across the business including offices, manufacturing and assembly areas.

You will need to be able to confidently work with a range of individuals to drive forward and implement change, achieving the results we need to make continuous improvements.
