Castle Engineering and Manufacturing are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a successful company based in Scarborough.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the use of AutoCAD and SolidWorks software, Microsoft Office suite and previous exposure to generator design. The duties of this role consist of generating mechanical panel layout designs using 3D software and ensure that the full production support documentation is issued to the relevant departments.
To be successful in this role you will have…
- Extensive previous use of AutoCAD and SolidWorks 2D and 3D design
- A HND/HNC or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Design
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office suites
- Previous experience working with generators and sheet metal
- The ability to read technical specifications
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Monday – Thursday hours with an early finish on Friday’s
- Based in Scarborough with easy access to train and bus services
