Quality Control Inspector (RL6458) Pickering, England
The key responsibilities of this role are…
- Verify mechanical, machining and weld materials based upon FET drawings and test specifications
- Inspect fabricated and machined components to engineering drawings
- Perform mechanical inspections for components and completed assemblies, paint shop inspections, visual inspections, thickness measurements and weld shop inspections
- Assist with the company’s calibrations program
- Assist with the filing of QHS&E records and monitor corrective and preventative actions
- Prepare certification packages as required
To be successful in this role, you will have…
- The ability to read and interpret drawings
- Understanding of drawings in line with basic quality control
- Previous experience in a quality control activities within a mechanical component environment
- Ability to use measuring equipment (Vernier callipers, micrometres, etc.)
- The ability to maintain behaviour in compliance with HSE requirements
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
