Great opportunity for Electrical Technician paying over £24,000 pa + overtime working a 37hr week across 4 days based in North Yorkshire commutable from York, Malton, Scarborough, Pickering, Whitby. Fantastic permanent electrician position with good benefits.

As Electrical Technician you will be required to assemble and test electronic/electrical components, sub-assemblies and assemblies.

The purpose of the role is to offer technical assistance within their manufacturing and build departments, as Electrical Technician you will be required to:

• Assemble electronic/electrical sub-assemblies from schematic diagrams, drawings or verbal instructions and following works order instructions to ISO9001 standards.
• Wire and solder wiring harness and cable assemblies, PC boards, SMT, transformer assemblies, control consoles, connectors, etc.
• Carry out heavy-duty cable wiring, deck cable assembly, and control system outfitting
• Perform limited troubleshooting and testing of assemblies and limited computer-controlled operations
• Ensures assembly/sub-assembly build times are met to maintain department efficiency target of 100%.
• Complete all necessary documentation according to the requirements
• Carry out job tasks safely using good working practices.
• Carry out all assembly work to the required department quality standards.
• Ensure good housekeeping.

To be successful in the position of Electrical Technician you will need to display:

• Excellent communication skills
• 17^th/18^th Edition electrical accreditation
• Possess 2 year's experience in operations
• An ability to be able to manage multiple tasks

Due to the nature of the position and the environment you must be comfortable working to deadline and at times under pressure.
