QUALITY ENGINEER
MALTON
£30,000-£35,000

Castle Engineering and Manufacturing are seeking a Quality Engineer to join a well-established equipment supplier business based in Malton, North Yorkshire.

The main purpose of the role is to provide quality support and increase process knowledge by assuring compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.

The key points of this role are…

• Propose and implement test equipment and execution improvements
• Drive supplier development through communication of requirements, feedback on performance and reviews of supplier quality systems
• Promote and practice structures continuous improvement through the use of quality tools such as Six Sigma and Lean
• Improve effectiveness of quality management systems through participation in internal audits, management reviews and document reviews
• Increase process knowledge

To be successful in this role you will have…

• A HND in Engineering
• Previous manufacturing experience in a similar role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of statistical analysis using MS Excel
• Experience in process improvement techniques
