Production Draughtsperson (RL6449) Malton, England
Castle Engineering and Manufacturing are seeking a Production Draughtsperson to work in a fast-paced design team for our manufacturing client based in Malton.
The successful candidate will be working as part of a small motivated team liaising with individuals across multiple departments and sites within the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generation of production drawings
- Working from order forms and drawings provided by clients
- The daily use of SolidWorks 3D modelling
- Liaising with production regularly and to gain an in-depth knowledge of the products being produced
- Assist the Research and Development team with the development and introduction of new products
To be successful in the role you will have…
- Extensive experience in SolidWorks 3D software
- Previous experience working in a drawing office, ideally within a fabrication company
- 3D CAD skills and exposure
- HND/HNC/BTEC level education in an Engineering or Construction related subject
- The ability to accurately interpret customer’s requirements
- The ability to work to tight deadlines
