Castle Engineering and Manufacturing are currently seeking an Engineering Customer Support Technician to join a successful manufacturing business based in Kirkbymoorside, Pickering.
This role involves providing technical support for in-service products to both external customers and FET part sales functions.
Key responsibilities:
- Be the first point of call if support issues are elevated above the schedules on-call technician’s scope
- Collate customer ready engineering responses to technical support enquiries
- Find a resolution to customer reported issues
- Compile root cause analysis of in-service problems
- Identify product improvement opportunities
- Assist with system integration as required
- Log all customer support enquiries using FET database
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A HND/HNC qualification in Engineering
- The ability to lead a team
- Awareness of QHS&E policies and regulations
- Effective organisation skills
- Previous experience within a technical role
- ISO9001 QA exposure
