Manufacturing and Process Engineer

£30,000-£35,000
My client is a leading global manufacturer and they are currently seeking a Manufacturing and Process Engineer to join them at their site in Malton on a permanent basis.
The position of Manufacturing and Process Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the product transfer stage from NPI through to assembly and manufacture. The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing process improvements on new and existing production lines to ensure production is as cost effective as possible.
Other responsibilities will include identifying new manufacturing equipment and research tools and equipment utilised in production to maximise output. You will also be responsible for assisting in the production line layout and design and selecting contractors or vendors so the layout and equipment design is completed on time and to budget.
To be considered for the Manufacturing and Process Engineer role you will...
- Have proven experience in a similar position within the manufacturing industry
- Have knowledge of product assembly techniques
- Have knowledge of CAD softwares such as Auto CAD
- Have experience in the use of SAP or alternative ERP system and electronic manufacturing
