Salary: GBP25000 - GBP30000 per annum

 

Castle Engineering & Manufacturing are working with an exciting and expanding business who have seen a growth in demand and are seeking a Production Manager to join their driven and inclusive team.

 

As Production Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, effective running of the Company’s production areas. Including being responsible for all aspects of quality in line with ISO accreditation standards.

In the role of Production Manger you will be responsible for:

  • Lead the respective production teams so as to achieve all production targets, optimising all resources as required
  • Lead motivate and develop the teams, to ensure planned output requirements/quality standards are met whilst ensuring all H&S guidelines are followed.
  • Ensure regular communication/briefing to provide the team with the relevant information to carry out their shift to maximum effect
  • Ensure you communicate/report regularly to the Managing Director showing production performance, results, variances etc.
  • Train new employees and coach existing employees to ensure fulfilment of capability
  • Be part of the production teams, producing product when needed

 

This is an integral role to the business, you will have exposure to various teams across the business and will need an understanding of production and logistics.
