Castle Employment are looking for a Quality Engineer for a leading manufacturing and engineering business based in Malton. Reporting directly into the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for driving quality improvements across the manufacturing process and beyond. The Quality Engineer will look at developing and implementing processes that improve the quality of service of both internal and external stakeholders. The Quality Engineer will oversee the 3 main areas of quality within the business: Quality Improvement, Quality Assurance and Quality Control. Ideally, the Engineer will have an understanding of ISO Quality Systems, as well as past experiences of working to Continuous Improvement Processes such as LEAN, Kaizen, Six Sigma etc.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Quality/Continuous Improvement role within Manufacturing/Engineering OR a recent graduate
• Ideally worked to ISO Quality standards, if not a recent graduate
• Background of working to Quality tools such as LEAN, Kaizen, Six Sigma etc, if not a recent graduate
• Degree in relevant discipline, ie Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

• The salary for the role is £22000-£30,000 dependant on experience
• There will be occasional travel required for the role
