Castle Engineering & Manufacturing Division are working with an established nation-wide business who are seeking a time-served Multi-Skilled Engineer to work across their UK sites offering engineering support, advice, carry out risk assessments and ensure the safe and efficient running of all plant assets.
In the role of Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you will be reporting into the Maintenance Supervisor or Group Maintenance Manager and will manage all relevant paperwork and reports to ensure that all machines and systems are running effectively and in line with all Health & Safety Policies.
As a Mobile Plant Maintenance Engineer, you will be working across multiple sites and will have the following responsibilities:
- The Maintenance and of all machinery at various sites working to set PPM’s and assisting with maintenance
activity as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor on site
- Providing relevant engineering training to new starters
- Overseeing and participating in installations and machine removals and re-location as requested
- Checking and maintaining all PPE records and relevant paperwork
- Recording of all relevant activities
- Ensuring all H&S Policies and procedures are being adhered to generate of Risk Assessments
- Management of spare parts and stocks re-ordering as required
To be successful in the position you will need to display the following:
- EITB Certificate or NVQ in Plant Maintenance
- IEE 17th Edition
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Current and valid Driving License
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience
Salary: £13- £15 per hr will be provided with vehicle, phone and lap top
Hours: Mon - Fri 37hr week
