CNC (Miller) (VC2431) Filey, England
Castle Engineering Division are seeking a CNC Miller to work within a precision engineering business who are investing and growing their operations.
Initially working on nights, moving into days in the New Year you will be working as part of a precision engineering team and will be required to manage your time and tasks. In the role of CNC Miller you will be responsible for the following:
- Working on and managing workload on a Milling Machining Centre
- Programming the machine using Fanuc/Winmax
- Manufacturing of components for various customers
- Ensuring that work is carried out to highest quality level and standards
This role is initially to work on nights (8:30pm – 7am Mon – Wed 9.30pm – 7.00am Thurs) but will be moving into a day role. To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:
- Previous knowledge of working with CNC machines
- A working knowledge of Winmax/Fanuc programming software
- A knowledge of CAD or CAD/CAM systems
- Ability to work to set time lines
In this role you will be working in a business that is looking to invest in a new state of the art machining shop and you will have the opportunity to develop and help grow the precision engineering arm of the business. You will be working on a variety of jobs and will be required to work as art of a team as well as have the ability to work on own initiative.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a demanding but rewarding environment and will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to work on new state of the art CNC machinery. It is a varied role where you will be working on bespoke jobs as well as working on more standardised jobs.
Salary: £25,000 - £34,476 pa dependent on experience and shift
