Commercial Operations Executive - Account Exec (SP661) Dublin South, Republic of Ireland

Salary: EUR28000 - EUR32000 per annum

Our client is one of the most innovative food and drink companies in the world. They are leaders in the soft drink category.

They are currently recruiting a Commercial Operations Executive on a 6 month contract. This role plays a key part of the Sales team, supporting the designated National Account sales team. This role provides sales support to the National Account Managers in the achievement of the sales priorities and targets for the channels, while driving efficiency and accuracy in sales data, customer submissions and internal cross functional communication.

It is critical that the Commercial Operations Executive is flexible and supports his/her colleagues

The Commercial Operations Executive will be responsible for ensuring the flawless communication of all trade activity to the specified customer base, supporting the delivery of company and category objectives. This Executive will deliver operational excellence to ensure that our brand is the Customers preferred supplier. It is important that the Commercial Operations Executive is familiar with the company Vision & Values and at all times tried to demonstrate these in in there Ways of Working,

Key contacts for the role will include National Account Management, Marketing team, Finance team, Field Sales Team and selected External Customers with focus on the buying and demand planning teams.

Background and Person Profile

The person will need to have a minimum of 3 years experience working in a similar role dealing directly with the multiples and convenience channels in FMCG. Will have developed strong relationships with trade and be able to demonstrate ability to meet deadlines and also resolve issues in a timely manner.

The individual will be passionate, energetic and enthusiastic about delivering results on time with 100% Accuracy. Good interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills are essential. They should be highly organised, and able to work and prioritise under pressure. The individual will have demonstrated a strong teamwork ethic and will be capable of supporting their colleagues across a wide range of skill.

They will have excellent Customer Sales Administration experience, whilst demonstrating strong analytical, numeracy and presentation skills. The person will also have excellent communication and organisational skills whilst being proficient in IT.

Essential Experience Required for Role

  • 3 years minimum experience working in a similar role
  • Promotional Process Experience
  • First Hand Experience in dealing with Pricing – Ability to work out Customer Margins
