Service Coordinator—Atlanta, GA—6 Month Contract

CompuCom has an opening for a Dispatch Service Coordinator in Atlanta, GA. This position is responsible for assisting with the planning and scheduling field service technicians for our local and national markets, and ensuring customer satisfaction and technician productivity. Products and services supported include IT repair service, maintenance contracts, controls, modifications, and other innovative solutions.

This position will offer two weeks of Training in North Atlanta and will then transition to a 6 month contingent opportunity working remotely / from home.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Communicate with a large customer base to coordinate requested work.
  • Work with dispatch supervisor and field personnel to qualify and dispatch service / emergency calls for large geographic area.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary team of field supervisors and coordinators to ensure scheduled work is completed.
  • Liaise between technicians and service supervisor team for all tech device and technician IT issues.
  • Ensure scope of work and time requirements are well communicated to technicians.
  • Assist operations productivity initiatives to improve customer service and profitability for market.
  • Track business metrics, work with business manager to improve customer service, market communication, and operational efficiency.
  • Input service contract scope, work with supervisors to schedule maintenance, eliminate labor shortages, and even workload throughout year

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • AA / AS Degree, Technical / Business School Certificate or Diploma, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship, or other post high school training (two years duration)
  • Must have solid computer skills and a minimum of 3 years office experience
  • Must be able to work independently
