Signalling Engineers (JO016115) Qatar
Key Responsibilities and Challenges:
- Signaling system configuration of interlocking and radio block center, specific applications with safety requirements
- Production and review of Basic Design documents as track and signal plans, interlocking tables and interface specifications, object controller configuration.
- Decide about technical solutions related to specific applications following applicable internal and external rules and regulations.
- Participate in bids representing the Basic Design area of expertise.
- Compose pre-studies and investigations related to Basic Design.
- Support to software, hardware and test engineering regarding specific application functionality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or higher education in Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience- 5+ years in a Metro/Rail environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge about safety standards and regulations.
- Railway process and signalling systems knowledge desirable.
- A driven and proactive individual with excellent time mangement skills.
- Must be fluent in English – both spoken and written.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
