Chief Power Engineer

Job duties

  • Supervises the state of the energy housing of the Branch, determines and analyzes the causes of energy irrational use and losses, treats losses and premature wear of power equipment
  • Supervises the implementation of the plan of measures for the preparation of power units of the Branch to work in the autumn-winter period
  • Computes the needs of the enterprise for all types of energy and prepares the energy balance of the Branch
  • Prepares and collects the necessary documentation for contracting energy supplying companies for the consumption (release) of energy resources, as well as for the conclusion of administrative and economic contracts for the needs of the Branch
  • Prepares documentation on technical supervision for their release in higher organizations
  • Organizes primary and periodic inspections and testing of electrical equipment of apparatus electrical networks and other electrical equipment of the Branch that have been overhauled or restored after accidents and in accordance with the procedure specified by the Occupational Safety and Health Regulations for work in electrical installations
  • Carries out the control over condition of standard stocks of materials and spare parts to power equipment in a warehouse of department
  • Organizes metrological support of the operation of energy accounting systems and devices
  • Ensures the work of the department in the relationship of the Branch with suppliers and consumers of energy resources
  • Ensures fail-safe operation of the electrical housing
  • Ensures fail-safe operation of heat and water supply systems
  • Takes part in the work of the commission to investigate the causes of injuries, accidents, accidents and defects in the energy housing and develops preventive measures to avoid occurrence
  • Organizes implementation of commissioning works on newly commissioned and reconstructed equipment, ventilation installations and power networks by the energy services forces or by involving third-party specialized organizations, participates in the commissioning of technological equipment
  • Organizes operation of the water supply and sewage facilities of the enterprise, together with the department of labor protection and safety engineering and technical services, carries out technical control over the quality of industrial effluent discharged from the bases of subcontractors
  • Corrects technical documentation on the basis of reconstruction projects of existing energy communications of the enterprise

Requirements

  • Hungarian-native, English-upper- intermediate
  • Higher education in Nuclear Industry (preferable)
  • Valid Hungarian license in the power industry
  • Work experience in the area at least 3 years (preferable) / Heavy Machinery / Energy
  • Knowledge of existing standards and technical provisions in Hungary
  • Knowledge of requirements to the technical documentation, materials, structures, equipment and accessories to be delivered to the construction site
  • Knowledge of risk identification procedure and damageability
  • Experience in managing of staff teams and subcontractor teams at the site
